Concrete Pumping Services

Concrete Pumping in Hammond and Lake County, IN

A concrete pump is a machine used for transferring liquid concrete by pumping the wet concrete from the ready-mix truck to the location where the concrete contractor requires it be placed. Masterlink has the concrete pump equipment and the experienced personnel necessary to make your project easier, faster and a complete success.

Concrete pumping provides a less labor-intensive way to move concrete from the ready-mix truck to the desired location. Distance, height, size of pour and other challenges are eliminated when using a concrete pump truck.

Line Pump

The second type of concrete pump is a “Line Pump”. A line pump is also a truck-mounted concrete pump, but instead of a remote-controlled arm, pipe and hose are laid on the ground and the material is pumped through the placing line. Masterlink line pumps are capable of pumping concrete hundreds of feet through a placing line. For the most demanding job sites, we can provide up to 1,000 ft of pipe & hose without using the boom. Any of our trucks can be used as a line pump, pairing with as much pipe as needed to reach the pour.

Boom Pump

A boom pump is a truck mounted concrete pump which uses a remote controlled articulating arm to place the concrete where required. A typical boom pump has 100’ of reach from the front bumper of the truck, but boom pumps are available that can reach up to and beyond 170’.

Conveyor Rental

If you need to move large amounts of material fast, this may be your best option. Moving up to 360 yards per hour, the conveyor can move a variety of materials from sand to rock to concrete.

A Conveyor is a truck-mounted, mobile, telescoping conveyor which can convey not only concrete but also sand, stone and other materials. Sometimes called a “Telebelt”, “Conveyor”, “Belt” or similar terms, Masterlink Concrete Pumping has the finest conveyors available from the Putzmeister company. Masterlink offers a TB110 conveyor which offers 110 feet of reach.

Line Dragon

The Line Dragon pump system easily maneuvers over rebar grid, radiant heat lines, nelson studs, floor decking or many other prepared surfaces. With a weight of just close to 1,000 pounds, this option is less weight per square inch of footprint than most manual laborers.

Recruiting experienced concrete laborers is becoming more and more challenging. When running concrete pump placing line or “system” over several hundred feet, 3-4 laborers are often required to move the pipe and hose as the pour progresses. With a Line Dragon, those laborers are not required as this equipment both moves the line and place the concrete exactly where it is needed.
